Description

Welcome to Guerlain’s most feminine garden!

This is also an ode to femininity by transcribing a face, that of a nymph, in the form of a perfume. He is thought to be “a goddess of nature who, by her grace, has become a mythical figure in art and a great symbol of the Renaissance. “

Welcome to Guerlain’s most feminine garden!

The history of Aqua Allegoria perfumes began in 1999. Their goal was to interpret nature in a luminous and sparkling way. . Guerlain also embarked on the development of as many perfumes as there are different gardens on the planet. This is why this collection continues to grow from year to year, gradually traveling through many countries, from India to Italy via California, Reunion Island and China. Guerlain thus sends its perfumers to four around the world and ensures that they select the finest materials and the most emblematic ingredients from each region they visit. This time, Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa is much more than a garden. It is a plant-based place that gives thanks to femininity and even endows it with a part of mystery and the divine. This perfume adopts the features of a nymph , goddess of nature an d the arts. It is a tender juice, bright and romantic. Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa takes us into a wonderful world, bordering on reality and dreamlike. This olfactory allegory then corresponds to a spring garden in which we would be delighted to be amazed in front of the barely hatched flowers and the bees’ foraging.

The vegetable flavor of Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa

Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa is a fragrance that was developed by the official perfumer of the Guerlain house, the talented Thierry Wasser. This one was then inspired by the flower of syringa, otherwise called “jasmine of the poets”. It reveals here its radiant and bewitching charms. This plant is also accompanied by the Mediterranean luminosity of the orange blossom. This brings more warmth to the whole, similar to that which is revealed in the first rays of spring sun. Then, a green and fruity freshness makes its appearance. The latter is dominated by the smell of barely cut grass. Bergamot and lemon, on the other hand, only increase this invigorating effect. The whole is a concentrate of tangy cheerfulness. Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea s ends with a woody flavor coated with a syrupy honey with golden accents. Everything is presented in a sublime case very inspired by Guerlain’s emblematic Bee Flask from 1853. This one plays with the light through its finely chiseled golden dome as if to better reveal the soft beige color of its juice.

Aqua Allégoria Flora Nymphéa, between delicacy and lightness

Who does not know the very famous Guerlain house? If it is one of the oldest fashion houses, it is also one of the most luxurious. The story begins with Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain who opened the first store in 1828, rue de Rivoli in Paris. He will be the official supplier to Queen Victoria, the Queen of Hungary and the Russian Tsar. Guerlain is at the origin of very great olfactory successes such as “Habit Rouge, Vétiver, L’Heure Bleue, la Petite Robe Noire, Idylle, Shalimar or even L’Instant de Guerlain ”. In 2010, Guerlain unveiled “Aqua Allégoria Flora Nymphéa”, a fragrance from the very chic Aqua Allégoria collection.

The very chic Aqua Allegoria collection

It was in 1999 that the Guerlain house decided to create a unique collection, quite apart from “Aqua Allegoria”. Through this new olfactory collection, Guerlain wanted to pay tribute to nature. “Aqua Allegoria” will not be a Cologne line, because “Aqua Allegoria” offers, in a new style, a new conception of freshness. “Aqua Allegoria” is displayed in a spirit as refined as it is uncluttered, breaking free from standards. Between allegory and joy, the “Aqua Allégoria” collection goes off the beaten track to offer its vision of water and nature. “Aqua Allégoria Flora Nymphéa” is embodied for the first time as a nymph, the goddess of nature, who has become a mythical figure in art. A delicate allegory, “Aqua Allégoria” unveils the olfactory charms of an ephemeral garden made up of enchanting scents around syringa and orange blossom. Halfway between the fairy and the woman, the Guerlain nymph wants to be ultra contemporary.

The sweet and floral notes of Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa

Thierry Wasser, the perfumer from Guerlain, is at the origin of this sumptuous eau. “Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa” opens with herbal notes associated with fruity notes. The heart is built around the syringe, also called “the flower of the poets”, combined with the luminosity and the sweetness of the orange blossom. The base offers a slightly sweetness since it is accompanied by a touch of honey. As for the bottle, it remains faithful to the tradition created by the sculptor Robert Granai. The decoration of the bottle is original, but since 2010 has been adorned with a gold label more precious than ever. The case is also much more elegant. Immaculate white, with honeycomb relief, the case now displays the emblematic bee of the Guerlain house, available in the color of the fragrance from the “Aqua Allegoria” collection.

With the “Aqua Allegoria” collection, Guerlain has invented a new way of paying homage to nature. Between perfume, eau de toilette and cologne, there is now the Aqua Allégoria. “Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphéa” is a sweet and floral fragrance. It highlights the syringa and orange blossom, beautifully bright flowers. The rendering, with the brand emblematic bottle, is just perfect.
